Today I bought a purple and gold beer bottle opener that plays the LSU fight song and yells GEAUX TIGERS whenever you open a bottle of beer. I got it at the liquor store section of the Albertsons on Perkins Road in Baton Rouge for $7.95. I can't resist using it even on bottles with a twist off cap.
I already had a Three Stooges opener I bought last year with Curley saying "How bout a beer? nyuck nyuck nyuck" I know there is a Homer Simpson opener too. I wonder how many different ones they make. Here are a few they could do: Ole Piss - Plays Eli's Comin' Georgia - Who Let the Dawgs Out Alabama - Its rollin' baby, its rollin' Arkansas - Beverly Hillbillies Theme South Carolina - Buck, Buck, Buck, Buck Auburn - What are we called again? Kentucky - A Gatoraid commercial Mississippi State - Mooooooo, Moooooo Oregon - Sharp Dressed Man The Saints - Any real sad blues song, maybe Stormy Monday since the Ain'ts feel bad on Mondays a lot. USL - "Louisiana, They tryin' to wash us away" by Randy Newman OK, OK - I give up before it gets any worse. Can anybody think of some good ones?
My Mom sent me one just last week. It's the first thing I listen to when I walk in the house after work. The LSU fight song and the pop of the cap on a cold beer: sounds like, VICTORY!
Do you know ... where I can get one on-line?? Out of state - sbut I am headed back for the LSU/UF game next month and could pick one up if necessary then. GT
I've seen them at Albertsons and the Hallmark store on Lee near Highland. I'm willing to bet Tiger Mania has them as well.
