That magazine sounds like crap! Where did they get their rankings/predictions from??? --taking what the consensus of the rest of the nation thinks will happen and then bolt into the opposite direction???!!!

ND the #1 recruiting class???? Pa-lease! Funny how Penn State gets the "Best Coaching" nod as well as the "Best Tailgating"....Gee....wonder if any PSU alumni work for this magazine???

In all my years of following college football, never....NEVER have I heard of Penn State being up there in tailgating! ...and Arkansas? ...ARKANSAS?! Those red-necked swine-lovers wouldn't know how to have fun outside of mud wrestling--much less tailgate!

That publication is a joke....hope you didn't pay too much for it. Then again, the fact that you paid for it at all is too much.

That's about right. Hell, when I was in college, I drove up to La Tech to visit a friend and they were having their "Cajun Day"--complete with crawfish. We get to the end of the line and the lady asks, "So, do you want it spicy?" ...Then proceeds to douse it with black pepper! :dis:

...all I could do was laugh...

Their idea of "tailgating" at Texas is walking around "The Drag" and shopping at the various shops and drinking coffee at the coffee houses. Very few hard core tailgaters actually have any sort of rig for cooking. Also games are usually early, thus there isn't much time to do anything. Lastly, you really need to know someone who is tailgating in a group in order to hang out with them. No one will offer you a beer/seat/burger if they don't know you.

Penn State is boring there is no way that anyone in the north can hold a candle to LSU tailgating...The food, the drinking, the people, ect, ect. They should be so lucky to even be mentioned in the same article. And the coaching, Saban is not overrated, he has done a great job and will continue to improve LSU football. LSU is not a thrid place team there is way to much talent and good coaching for that.

Give Tennessee credit for the Volunteer Navy - They usually have about as many boats parked outside the stadium as we do motor homes. Granted, nobody outside of the boats can compare to LSU's tailgating, but the boats are pretty cool.
