It was an ugly win and hopefully we'll be much more prepared next week, since by the looks of it we will have had two weeks of preparation for Arkansas. I know a lot of people aren't happy with it, but a win is a win and we are still in the fight for a BCS bowl game. Hopefully this game opened some eyes on the team and will show them that they've got to play 100 times better next week.

Just remember folks, we won, albeit by a thread, but we won. Let's keep the gloom and doom off the boards, since it won't help us beat Arkansas.

    GEAUX TIGERS!!!

I agree. Hopefully Miles learned not to overlook teams in the league.

No complaints here, it's over, we won, a win is a win and hopefully we'll be prepared next week.

In a way I am glad LSU almost laid an egg today, and had to dig really deep late in the game to come up with a win. That is a good wake up call and this game will better prepare them for the tough game in Arkansas, both on the offense and defense.

I don't know if there is a weakness in the defense against the running game as there seemed to be too many holes for the Ole Miss running game. I am glad the defense finally settled down later in the game to allow the offense to win the game. Ole Miss has to be given credit as they played their hearts out; but I guess the depth of LSU's team outlasted them.

Looks like it is an off night most of the game for JR as he had some really bad passes missing open receivers by miles. I would like to give him credit for hanging in there and continue fighting, like the rest of the team that never gave up. He did come up with several critical passes and runs himself that kept the offensive drive late in the game. In a way it was a good win, considering the poor way the team played major part of the game (they got outplayed by a fired up Ole Miss team).

The good thing is, Game Day Final will spend all of their time talking about how the Mich. Ohio St. game was the best ever played. They'll be to busy trying to get a rematch to even mention LSU's close call to Miss. Maybe we won't drop in the polls.

That's a fact. OSU/UM was the only game played today.

I agree with you. Most teams have one game a year where things just don't jell for them. This was our game where things did not jell. Thankfully we got past it. I believe we will be better prepared to play Arkansas.
