Ugly Ducklings... What's with colleges changing uniforms? Football is a tough sport...it's not a fashion show.

if I were an Oregon fan I would hope most of the games we played on TV were AWAY games---the away uniforms weren't nearly as hideous as the new home uniforms
I played my high school football at Cedar Creek High School in Ruston. We were the Cougars and our colors were green and gold, very much like Oregon. Now, I know it's hard to make green and gold attractive, but we did the best we could and came out with some pretty swanky uniforms. Oregon's last uniforms were hideous, but these are GAWD-AWFUL. Why did they change the old ones? Anyone remember the old Oregon uniforms of the mid-90s, with gold helmets with a big green "O" on the side, green jerseys, and gold pants? Those were nice, classy, simple, a lot like the Packer's uniforms. These are bad, and the gold "alternate" is just DISGUSTING! Whoever designed these needs to be fired. And the new duck is very ugly too. He looks like a space alien.
As ugly as the new unis are the new mascot looks like Darth Vader trying to disguise himself as Heckle or Jeckle
