I'll have to take the time to read the actual treaty, since it's obvious this site is a far right site. However, if this is anywhere near accurate, I'll be making sure they hear me in Washington over this one.

    ban spankings?

we have already raised a generation of kids who are way too coddled, kids who cant get any cerebral stimulation unless loud noises and different colors are flying at them through a television.

What would happen, if technology failed. Like if there was a gigantic electromagnetic pulse that fried all of the electronics globally, or a solar flare that knocked out power globally. The human race would slowly deteriorate.

I was without power for 6 days during Gustav. I did not die. In fact, rounding the corner towards the 6th day I was probably more well rested and happy since I did not stay up until all hours of the night watching some crap or playing on the computer.

I will say that if not for information technology, I have no idea how I would be gainfully employed.

Just another step towards a one world government and losing our sovereignty as a nation and as individuals. New World Order, here we come.

You don't need to spank your children, but waving a handgun around usually works nicely.

I am not going to ever spank my son. However, I was spanked growing up and I can't say I was scarred by it or anything. Just as long as it is done properly in a loving manner, and not an abusive one.

I haven't found spanking to be particularly effective discipline management with my daughters, either--though it's happened from time to time. But it shouldn't be "regulated." Of course, there are idiots who abuse their children--but regulation won't change that.

give it a couple years, your opinion will probably change.

edit: was talking about his son. I think that a quick swat to stop a tantrum and get their attn is very effective. Then you can proceed to discipline. You have to get their attn first.
