    A neck injury...Hmm...

Yet another scholarship thrown away on a player who won't contribute for two years...A backup plan for Spencer Ford the mental case...

What anyone who has half a brain sees here is a faulty recruiting job of a questionable character, followed up by a backup plan that didn't even exist. The contingency plan was to offer a scholarship to a kid to play at an SEC school who isn't even talented enough to contribute in his first year, in an era of basketball where the best players have no need for college, period?

Yet another brilliant move by John Brady...

Who the hell redshirts in college basketball anymore?

i agree, in fact why does baseball even have the minor leagues? if people cant contribute immediately, and especially if they get injured, why bother? the coach should be shot in the face.

    player development? injury rehab? please!

lsu should only recruit lebron james type talent. if they dont get a player who could start in the nba, they should just burn the scholarships and move to russia.

also please stop taunting my fellow mckinley high alumni.

Is this the same type of "neck injury" that Travis Daniels magically overcame in '01 in the SECCG to take the field & bat down two passes and help save our SEC Championship and BCS Bowl Berth?

Was it the same neck injury that had Norman Lejuene redshirting what was his true junior year, only to see him come back after defensive back injuries to other players magically cured him enough to play?

You're naive if you think he's got a legitimate injury...The kid isn't ready to play, and we all know it...

He's thrown another one away, but you're so willing to give this guy the benefit of the doubt in the face of continued proof of his incompetence on the court, recruiting, and especially off the court (which you now are aware of), that you ignore it all...Hoping against hope this guy turns a corner he's supposed to have turned each year since the Sweet 16 run...

It's not going to happen...and there are constantly new lines of handwriting being written onto the wall...You & the rest of the BBMLB are worse than Nebechudnezzar when it comes to reading it...

Yep...JueMichael Young, Shawnson Johnson, Spencer Ford...Those guys were real finds, too...

For every success story you can come up with, I can come up with an absolutely atrocious decision this guy made...and that isn't going to cut it, no matter how much you want to ignore the forest for the sake of the tree here, martin...

even with all those terrible bastards, brady still finished second in the west, in spite of an injury to their star player that ruined the end of the season. second in the west, hmmm. i guess all teams below second last year should draw and quarter their coaches.

No...What ended their season wasn't an injury to their star player, it was an star player who was an absolute thug who proved it on the court and off the court who Brady built a team around, then had to watch it crumble-along with the season and another year's expectations-when the thug went mental, melted down, and got tired of the bullsh!t he got from the coaching staff at LSU...and in particular John Brady...

You're going to tell me you were proud of Jaime Lloreda for taking cheap shots at guys from Florida, Mississippi State, and taking a really expensive one at Paul Wolfert's jaw? I'm sure glad you are happy with John Brady for that move to bring in that kid...

Or maybe you don't care what kind of players we bring in at LSU, as long as they can win games and get us some W's and make some noise in the Big Dance...Damn the consequences, or the women who get beat up on campus, or the teammates broken jaws, or the program getting run through the mud, having players leave the team at halftime because they can't adjust to having cornrows...We went to the NIT, we're sumpin special, right martin?

honestly i dont care that much about a fight between players. and i dont care about this story you have about paul wolfert's dad not giving money to the team because of it. this guy wanted to pay lsu to put his undertalented guy on the team? either his kid is on the team or he isnt. i dont care about his dad's money (i am pretending your story is true). he can keep his money.

if i could go back in time and i was brady, i would definitely recruit lloreda. a poor kid from panama with size and skill? of course i give him a chance.

besides, if i had been lloreda, and i was worried about an injury, i would surely err on the side of caution, because the nba pays millions, and i am poor and new to america, and my career is far more important than college basketball.
