Anyone think we may see some of him next week? Beamer may have been keeping him out against ECU and just leaving Glennon in, to show LSU a different look.
I don't know about the kid, but if you didn't trust him to go get some snaps last week, why would you trust him with his first playing time against LSU in BR, when we're ranked #2 and with the defense we have? If you were planning to play him, you'd have gotten him plenty of reps yesterday. If you're down 14-0 at the half, and going nowhere and the starter looks real bad, in desperation, you may make a switch at halftime, if you think that doing nothing ensures a loss. My guess, that's the only way we see him.
It is not about what you did in highschool that makes you a starter.(that makes make you a recruit) It is what you show after getting to the show that makes a starter.
True freshman in Tiger Stadium on national TV? By all means, bring him on. I'd love to ruin his confidence.
Thay have another back up named Ike Whitaker who was the #2 dual threat in 2005 who plays WR and QB who we may see also. http://virginiatech.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=1&pr_key=23951
