1. I imagine that Miles will be discreet, at any rate, like he was about Malveto last year. I don't like to see people fired...but I also like LSU to score and control the time of possession. So...
  2. Very nice. I love it when we find coaches with LSU ties.
  3. I think that if Crowton stays and F's up the offense like he did this season, a lot more of Miles' supporters will have to reasonably conclude that he (CLM) has to take some blame for it if he fails to get rid of the problem that's been clearly identified. Just like the Malveto fiasco; he fixed it, but not before it got bad.
  4. That's just the nature of the beast, though. One can't go around randomly firing people because they might not do their job well enough. Miles didn't know that Malveto would sink. When he did know, he let them go, but did it really well in finding them alternate employment and not publicly humiliating them.

Any of us would appreciate the same courtesy.

So, if Crowton "finds alternate employment," I think most of us will be a bit relieved. If not, we have to hope that the ship rights itself anyway.
  5. somehow the "probably" doesnt instill confidence.
  6. We can only hope

  7. Tolbert looks like a great hire with the Texas and Florida ties, placed on top of NFL experience.

  8. No, but if the information of him possibly not having any input into the new hires is true, then that could be a significant sign.
  9. I LOVE this hire. Finally, a coach that can develop our WR's - AND recruit.
