This is subject to change, weekly. I haven't watched many other teams but if I had to pick two it would be Oregon (easily) and Bama 2nd.

Should Florida St. be in the mix? I know they put up a lot of points- how is their defense?

    Who you got?

I would have to say right now my Top 5 would be:

    1. Oregon
    2. Ohio State
    3. Stanford
    4. Clemson
    5. UGA

There just isn't anything impressive about Bama, aTm, or any other SEC team right now to put them in there. Looks like this could very well be the year the SEC beats itself out of the National Championship.

I can definitely see this as the year when the SEC doesn't make it to the NCG. A couple of those top teams (Oregon, Ohio State) are simply not likely to lose. NOT....because they are so awesome (though, I would definitely put an awesome tag on Oregon before OSU), but because I don't see anyone on their schedules to truly test them.

Believe it or not, Wisconsin was the team with the best chance to top OSU, and they blew it (because, well, they suck, but that speaks to how bad the Big 10 is...)

Stanford is not that great, and Clemson has some tough games ahead (FSU, South Carolina).

But Alabama is definitely not in the top two, Tiga. Have you actually watched them? They are not good. I think we might just stomp a mudhole in them this year.

Oregon and Ohio State will play for the marbles as the SEC eats itself up.

That's not what I was asking though. I agree Ohio State's record won 't reflect how "strong" they are...or aren't. They could get mauled if they make it to the title game.

Didn't really watch yesterday. Just saw they dominated a quality team. Just flipped a couple of times then turned off the t.v. for the night. I wasn't "upset" over our loss but I was disappointed cause we had a chance and it just wasn't our day.

You need to actually watch Bama, Tiga. They are really not good.

That's hard for me to do. Tell you what, I'll watch a Bama game if you write, "Johnny Manziel wuz HERE!" on the front of your panties.

I think Oregon is the best team. THey have the best O in the country and their D is better than years past. They only play one team all year in Stanford so I think they finally put it all together this year.

I think they will beat OSU. OSU also plays a pretty simple schedule, the Big Ten isnt on their level right now. In a tournament setting like next year I dont think they play for the title. They arent a contender in the SEC.

That said until Bama is defeated they should be #1.

I agree that Bama is not as good as they are touted. Offensively, we are way above them. Their QB might be THE most overrated player. That is said with all the objectivity I can muster.
