Can anybody recommend a place that ships turduckens? Since it's just for my wife and me, I'd like avoid paying a small fortune!

I'm going to check out a couple local cajun places, but figure y'all may have some better recommendations.

    Thanks!

I think my sister found one at a cajun store in the Woodlands, I wanna say she told me it was around $50.

I can try and find out the name of the store if you want me to

    Thanks for the recommendations!

I ended up ordering from cajuncreations.com. I got a turducken roll (like a small turducken) for $30, some cornbread stuffing for $10, and assorted boudin and stuffed chicken (to make the shipping more reasonable on a per-item basis.) I'll let you know how it is!!

Turns out the Turducken that I ordered is from Cajun Grocer. I guess cajuncreations.com is a reseller. I'll keep you posted on how it turns out.

The turducken roll was OK. Nothing to write home about, for sure. The turkey was fine, but the chicken and duck was a bit piecemeal, in my opinion.

Their cornbread dressing, however, was terrible. Too sweet, too bland  and overly dry. Blech.

Turduckens are overrated, and overpriced. I've had a few from various different places, but I haven't had one that makes me say wow. I think people are more fascinated with the concept than the actual taste of it.

Give me a fried turkey anyday. Heck, you can even fry the duck and chicken.

That makes me think ... can you fry the turducken? That would make it taste better!
