Also talks about the LSU game. Some of this should have been said last year. He had the stage, take advantage of it.
Well, he tried to talk about it some, but in the middle of it, you're only going to be accused of sour grapes and an agenda. With Auburn out of the chase this year, I think what he says can be taken more seriously...especially by the teams that may end up on the outside looking in if things keep going the way they're going. Anyone notice the new arse opening he tore Holtz?
I wonder if Auburn fans are happy about him speaking out against ESPN? I mean, afterall, since the have so much power, you want them to be kind to you the next time you have a good season, right?
I'd really like Tuberville, if I didn't hate him so much. :hihi: I wonder if Holtz will have the balls to say anything back to him?
Wow, for a minute there I actually liked the guy. I agree 100% with what he is saying. From telling Holtz to shut his piehole to the heavy hand that ESPN has in deciding the fate of who is going to be the next BCS champion. In related news....the sky has started to fall and pigs are circling overhead.
I found this part interesting too. I wonder who he's referring to? Could be Herbstreit? I remember last year him saying that if Auburn beat Georgia, they should be #2 in the BCS. We throttle Georgia and he changes to "let's see how they handle a hostile environment and a great defense at Alabama." Ok, so we win that game and it becomes, "How will they handle the pressure of having to beat a team twice and win the SEC Title Game?" Then after the game, he's pimping Oklahoma for decimating that awful Colorado team. Whatever. But he seems to be referring to something one or some of them have told him privately then done an about face on air. I'd love to know the inside scoop on that.
