I don't have any verification on this, but in one of the Yahoo! forums, one of the more civil USC fans (Yes there are some) has broght it to my attention that he heard a rumor that Chad Lavalais dropped the ADT Trophy and broke it in two...and ADT won't give LSU another one. He also added that he didn't think it was true, but he was asking me for verification on that... Anyone hear any of this?? Geaux Tigers!
He's not too "civil" It's a lie...I watched Saban place it back on the stand after it made the rounds. My wife actually made the comment that she could finally breathe once she saw Saban himself put it back. I think it was just before Vincent got the MVP trophy.
Cool.. I'll relay it... and actually, as I stated, he was checking with me to see if it was true.. not teasing at me. Some of their fans out there aren't too bad.. a little mislead maybe, but respectful nonetheless.
I doubt that to be true since WAFB TV just announced at 5 pm that the trophy will be arriving in Baton Rouge this Friday and that it will be available for viewing from 8-12 am Saturday at the Home Depot on Highland Rd. and Sunday at the women's basketball game.
Can someone in BR get to one of those venues and take a picture, post it to the forum? Thanks from those of us out-of-staters.
