Trophy????????

So does USC get any kind of trophy that says NC?

I heard a good analogy on the radio; the guy said, "I can claim to run a 9.5 hundred yard dash but that doesn't make it true. USC can claim a NC all they want, it doesn't make it true." All I know is that I wouldn't trade our NC trophy for theirs.

 

We actually have 2 trophies, the crystal egg and the sugar bowl trophy.

 

I think the AP gives out a trophy.

 

Actually I think the AP gives out an HP printed certificate that says, "AP National Champions" and "If presented with in one year, the holder of this certificate will receive one free buffet from Ryan's"...

Go figure, no wonder Carroll wants the AP recognition.

 

The AP does give out a Trophy. Ugly as sin though.

 

AP gives out a trophy and I'm pretty sure USC will have championship rings made up. I was looking at National Champ shirts and saw that there are a number of cheap "USC 2003 National Champ" shirts being printed out.

I know it probably won't happen, but I'm almost at the point where I wish the entire team would just explode under their own egos and have a terrible season next year.
