1. Said he was sad to see Saban go because he was setting up a Dynasty. That whoever takes over is going to be loaded next season and should do well...some other stuff too. Kind of breif but I was kind of shocked he made some positive comments.
  2. that is a first!
  3. Yeah, he said if he stayed they'd build a statue of him down there. And then Fowlers said, "yeah but now he can build his own statue with that money" or something like that.
  4. Then he went on to say that Neb. will win the NC next year.
  5.
  6. Yeah, I too was shocked by those comments. Lately he has been making comments about the SEC and SEC teams that is quite shocking to say the least. It's almost like he's taking a liking to the SEC. The other day he even said the SEC is the best conference hands down. Someone get a doctor.
  7. Trev may.... just may... be seeing the light. The first time he EVER gave us Hawks any respect was at half-time of the Florida game last year.
He an old Nebraska boy and being "football humble" has not always been a Big Red trait.
  8. Trev is a sports caster. He creates controversy but has always acknowledge that the SEC is one of the strongest conferences.
  9. isn't Trev the one having a clandestine affair w/ most of the UGA players? he's always big on the dawgs, right?

i agree that LSU will be loaded next year and could make a serious run at something special *again*.

shoot...look at where you'd be this year if not for the unfortunate (albeit welcomed to this aubie!) ending to the auburn game...looking at another SECC and BCS game....

  10. Yea, it was a little shocking. I guess it took Saban to leave before he could give the Tigers any props.

..and he went on to say that Georgia will beat USC in the national title game. lol
