I was wondering if Trev will be at the game this weekend since he does not have a job.

Such a shame. Saban told him not to go. He would have been an All American this year had he stayed. He would have been a 1st or 2nd round pick.

Well, it is shame what happened to him. However you make your own bed. Saban told him that he is not ready. And Saban knows.

Reed was ready, he had nothing left to accomplish. Faulk needed more time.
I am sure his Agent was no help.
I guess this will be a lesson to other kids considering it.

Family Pressure

I sat next to Trev's family at the Miss St game last year and they, his brother and sister told me they were " getting paid this year". Well I guess they did not get paid as much as they would have if they would have been patient. I guess they will have to pay that price but I do believe Trev will go back to school and finish if he has not finished already.

I think he has completed his degree, and that weighed in his decision. So at least he has that.

 

I had heard that there were some personal/family issues that prompted his departure. Maybe some financial hardships. Anyway, I wish him luck in the future. I hope he gets picked up by someone else.

 

I question his family needing money, as his brother plays for the NE Pats. He'll head to play for one of the European teams.

 

You mean his distant cousin who he only met because he played for LSU?

Yes, Trev will probably end up working his way up through NFLE or the CFL. He has the talent. Now is a question of if he has the desire.

 

No question Trev can play NFL Europe. He'll be playing football somewhere, sooner than later.

 

Kevin Faulk is not his brother. They didn't even meet until trev went to LSU.
