Did anyone else watch the halftime report during the Hawaii Bowl last night? I actually thought I heard Alberts give LSU's defense a compliment. He said somethig along the lines of the LSU blitz packages were going to confuse OU and that their QB isn't mobile enough to elude the rush. I almost hit the floor! This guy hasen't even acknowledged us all year. He's been so far up USC's azz that I was beginning to think that he was on their payroll. The guy hasen't been objective all year and he is one of these so-called sports media experts who are leading the charge for the USC crybabies to claim the national title even if they don't play in the title game. No matter what he says now, I still can't stand the guy. The media instigated the whole shared Nat'l. Title thing. I will not acknowledge a shared title if USC and LSU both win. LSU will be the only Champion!
Yeah, I saw that. Looks like ol' Trev is starting to jump on the LSU bandwagon. But know this, he still hates LSU. He's just covering his ass for when USC gets beat by Michigan and we win the Sugar Bowl. Then he can sit there on tv and say "I told you this LSU team was the best in the country..." Trev's a butt pirate. No matter what. Geaux Tigers!! "We just controlled what we could control." - Nick Saban
Throughout the season, I've come to expect nothing of Alberts. No bone-headed remarks will be taken as a shock to me any more. He is by far the most biased, assanine, cockey-ex-jock that I've ever seen. His comparisons with Raccoons and trees make him look more the idiot. ESPN should do themselves a favor and can this guy.
Try this.... This is their official site: http://usctrojans.ocsn.com/ Note on the first page they list the USC v Michigan game as the NC game. They are idiots. Hope Michigan blows them out so the bitchin' :cuss: and crying:cry: will end. :geaux:
Seriously, for next year, whenever Gameday comes back around to BR, someone needs to hold up a "Trev Alberts hangs out in the Coates bathroom!" sign.
I swear to god I'm getting sick and tired off seeing posts about what Trev Alberts said or didn't say, as if it really makes any difference about anything. Trev Alberts is an ESPN analyst, which means each day he is given a few topics by his producer and has to come up with 3 or 4 lines on it. What someone says on ESPN shouldn't get anyone up in arms. They're not programming their shows to play perfectly in Baton Rouge. They're putting on shows that will entertain a NATIONAL audience. Therefore, they're not going to mention LSU in EVERY show or EVERY insert.
