and he did pick LSU for the first Georgia game and the Sugar Bowl. gotta give him some props for that.
I believe something similar to this has been posted before but I will say it again. If you were not LSU fan and you seen the players lost and the general history of the program you would not put them at the top. LSU must have consistant 10 wins seasons to get the RESPECT that all of us want from ESPN and other media outlets.
The history of our program is one national championship since before my birth until last year and how many ten win seasons in the last twenty years. As tiger fans we believe we have always had a pretty good program. When it comes to the media it is about how many wins in a season. Lets face it L S U has never followed up a great year with another great year in recent history. I do believe if we have another great season that you will hear more about LSU as long is nick is there. If we follow last year season with a mediocore year like we did after winning the SEC in 2001 we will be right where we are with the media. Nothing to prove we can follow success with success
I agree with you stamant. LSU has never been in the elite of college football. Always a 2nd tier team, consistent but still 2nd tier. This is the first time in LSU history since the Paul Dietzel days that LSU has been at this level.
