Trev Alberts "Florida is the best team in the SEC"

I actually laughed. I got mad at first, but then I just laughed.

I wonder how anyone can get on national television and say the things he says and then have anyone take him seriously.

Mark May said very logically that Ole Miss is the best right now, but that he obviously doesn't think that OM will beat LSU, and he doesn't think they will win AU, but since they're undefeated, they're the best team at this point.

Guys, I'm sorry, but we need to get Trev Alberts off the air. The guy is not funny. He's not controversial. He's not smart. He's just stupid.

Now, I hate to say it, but if a former head coach and a guy who got the job over Alberts on Gameday rank LSU as the highest ranked SEC team, what does Alberts have to say?

I want to go out and put some long johns and jeans and a sweater on, steal someone's credit card, buy a roundtrip ticket to Bristol, Connecticut, and then buy a cab to ESPN studios...

I want to hang around in the parking lot until Trev Alberts comes walking out, and then strike him with a police tazer gun.

I then want to carve "I'm an idiot" into his forehead with a boxcutter, and then smear ink into it so he'll be scarred and tatooed for the rest of his life.

Perhaps then it will be easier to look himself in the mirror and utilize "self realization" of just what he is...

 

I agree. I saw that! Mark Mays (is that his name?) gave Alberts a hard time. He, basically, discredited him, saying: "wait, I let you get away with the Michigan State comment (not sure what that was), but I can't let this go. You've been saying Georgia's the best, but now you say Florida's best." Alberts' response was that Florida beat Georgia, so he logically deduced that Florida must be better! Where was that logic after LSU BEAT Georgia??? The guy's an idiot and a jerk, he's got something against LSU, and I hate him! The other guy was all over Alberts, too, saying, "wait, Ole Miss BEAT Florida at Florida, so how can Florida be better than Ole Miss???" Mays also said he doesn't think Ole Miss will beat LSU. I heard it. He was very proud of himself for making that analogy! For those of you who didn't see it, he said that as a kid on his farm in Iowa, he was scared of racoons. But, his Dad told him there was no need to be afraid of a racoon unless you had it cornered. Then, it is dangerous. And that's what Virginia Tech was tonight - a cornered racoon...

Define Irony...

Irony is anyone who is a fan of a school from Louisiana trying to denigrate someone else by saying that they're, "white trash".

Let's cut him down by just admitting he's stupid. But, since we don't take kindly to the white trash stuff thrown our way, let's perhaps keep the white trash resets in regards to Alberts off limits.

Having said that, I still want to carve "I'm stupid" into his forehead and then smear ink in it so he can have a new "tat"...

 

I think I'd prefer to have someone call me white trash than to forcibly carve a tattoo on to my forehead.

 

Given Trev Alberts' complete cluelessness when it comes to everything relating to football (did you hear that stupid cornered raccoon analogy he used in describing Virginia Tech? Even Mark May and Rece Davis were rolling their eyes at that flight of logic), we do NOT want him on our side, and we are in good shape every time he picks our opponent to win.

After all, he has pretty much picked everyone EXCEPT Florida to beat us. We may not need any help to win out, but to keep me from worrying too much, Trev, please, please pick Alabama, Ole Miss and Arkansas to beat us.

 

Trev Alberts is a joke among the ESPN crowd. I mean, if you read his chat wraps on ESPN.com, he gets a terrible time from everyone. What a complete and utter joke..But who cares, we will win out, win the SEC and show everyone, including that pansy, that we are the best...
