I've read a lot of about who got the names first so I started doing some research about who really had what first. Now I am a Clemson and LSU fan so I'm netrual about who really had DV first. It turns out it was actually Clemson. There was something about some early settlers naming the grounds DV way back when according to Ole War Skule, but I havent found any proof of that. As far as the other things that LSU and Clemson both claim: Tiger Rag was an old jazz song that they both adapted, no offical dates. But I personal like Clemson's fight song better, its a little more up beat. As far as the better stadium LSU wins for now but when Clemson gets its new Inzone done their attendance will be around 94-95,000. With Tiger Stadium only at 91,000 its gonna be close to whos the best in 2005. LSU actually started playing football first too, 1893 compared to 1896. And finally the best overall tradition goes to Clemson's running down the hill. I've been to a lot of games for both schools and the hill gets me every time. GO TIGERS!!!
Running down the hill is so overrated...lets touch a rock guys!!!! I mean a guy two weeks ago broke his leg doing that stupid tradition. Clemson sucks and that stadium will never compare to Tiger Stadium!
maybe you guys should start walking down the hill in stead of running and maybe the team might not play like they're tired
What is this fool talking about???? How in the world does Clemson expect to sell out a 95,000 seat stadium when they haven't sold out their 84,000 seat stadium once this year and have only passed the 80,000 attendance mark once for UGA who probably brought close to 10,000 fans!!!!
