The way LSU played yesterday was totally pathetic. I was actually at one point in the game embarrased for all those kids and coaches. It was one of the worst coached games i have ever seen. Granted the officials did miss some obvious holding penalties, but when a RB gets 70 of his 100+ yds after first contact then there is something wrong there. The players played with absolutely no heart. They were dominated all day long on both lines, the "unstoppable" cover corners were manhandled, and the "vaunted" LSU run defense played like a nursing home team. This team was poorly coached. A prime example is Travis Daniels, not once did he turn his head to locate the ball on any of those three touchdowns. Had he have done this, it might have prevented something. This has been a all year thing too, they beat up on the weaker teams, and struggle against any remotely good teams. I guess its hard to play football when your head is wayyy up your butt. The coaches did not prepare well, and they were vastly outcoached. The way this team is playing right now, they will be lucky if they even make it to the Independence Bowl. They aren't playing with a sense of urgency. They got there Nat'l Title last year, so they are cool w/ someone like Georgia or Auburn winning it this year. I sure hope that they prove me wrong and come out next week and beat the piss out of florida, but if they don't have any sense of pride or urgency after this game, then pack it in for the season.

Yet another Fair Weather Fan has spoken. I would bet that last season (the end that is) was the first year you even watched a LSU Football Game. I am so damn tired of some of the fans of this school. We come off of a NC season, and all you people can do is bitch and moan because you "Expect" us to repeat? Get real! I bet some of you are the same ones that will be praising the players and coaching staff next season once the team matures.

"Dont you sometimes wish you could trade the FANS instead of the players"

    Right on! :thumb:

Also, dont forget about the spies that just come on here to stir crap up. Low post count with something like this is a good sign.

While his post may not be "politically correct" in your purple and gold shaded eyes, he’s right on the money. The fact is this team struggled against a very weak OSU team at home, got beat by a less talented Auburn team, and got drummed by an equally talented UGA team. Make all the excuses you want! Reality is this team and this coaching staff are seriously under-performing and under-achieving in all aspects of the game given the talent level, and calling someone a "Fair Weather Fan" simply because he has the audacity to point it out is more than very immature. Obviously, he forgot more about football and LSU than you will ever know.

Actually, i have been watching LSU football almost my entire life, so there goes that assumption bub. And im not a fair weather fan, and i do not expect a national title every year. This is the most talented team i have seen at LSU. So what i do expect is for them and the coaches to start playing up to their talent level. I am not a fair weather fan, i have stayed a fan throughout the years, even in the worst of times. I'm just extremely dissapointed that they played that bad against Georgia. I'm not calling for Nick Saban's head, im just hoping that they go into next week's game a whole lot more prepared than they were this week.

I dont understand why the stadium emptied it out like it did. At the end of the game the UGA fans were gone. I don't ever leave games early. I could not imagine why you would leave a huge win like that before the final second.

It was 45-10, late in the 4th, people were ready to get back to their tailgates and celebrate. Which we did. All night long. And we got to watch Auburn destroy UT.

Chili, while I respect your right to say what you said in your first post, I, personally, am ashamed to have you as a fellow Tiger fan - if you really are. You say you've been watching LSU football almost your entire life. Does that make you a fan? I've been watching a lot of college football teams for most of my life, but I am not a fan of all of those teams. As a matter of fact, I've often made a point of watching Notre Dame football and rooting for their opponent. And, what is your entire life? About 12 years? If you are an LSU fan, how quickly you became a spoiled LSU fan! Take a look at LSU's depth chart. How many upperclassmen do you count? Nick Saban is very close, but he is not quite yet to the point where he reloads each year. That, I believe, however, is coming. Here's one fan who, while disappointed with yesterday's game, is willing to be patient and who realizes that Saban and his coaches did not suddenly lose their intelligence or ability to coach!
