Anyone know if you can find Fat Tire in Baton Rouge?

I've talked to a bunch of people who love it, but I've never seen it in BR.

I think Pacifico can be found in Publix. There is a pretty cool convenience store/beer shop with a bunch of foreign beers on San Jose Blvd north of I195, in the same shopping center as the first Blockbuster on your right. You can also find a decent selection at World Market.

I imagine you've been to European Street... if not check out their huge beer list (and great sandwiches). There is another place in St Augustine off of St George street, I believe it is called Rendezvous. Oh yeah, and the wine shop by St Johns town center has a lot of wine, but also a pretty good selection of beer. :hihi: Maybe I drink too much.

I've also heard good things, but I've never seen it and never tried it.

Pacifico is a Mexican brand, part of the Corona family. When in the US I drink Tecate, but when I cross the border it is Pacifico only. Has to be on ice too. The best for Baja trollin and fish tacos! Going down soon for a yellowtail run and warm weather. :thumb:

Dixie- perfect compliment to red beans and rice, boiled seafood, or just about any other traditional Louisiana dish. This is my staple beer. I drink it everyday.

    Skull Splitter- Bitter and potent

    Mickey's- Malt Liqour..yummy

Maximus Lagunitas- Great with fish and chips.

    Rest of the bunch
Black Beard Ale, Turbodog, Abita Amber, Andygator, Abita Pecan Harvest, Abita Weat, Dead Guy Ale, Arrogant Bastard Ale, Mackson XXX, Smithwicks, Guinness, Newcastle, Budweiser, Miller High Life, Fat Tire, Rocky's Punch Drunk Ale, Brooklyn Lager

    Beers I hate
Atlanta Brewing Company Red Brick Ale, Sweetwater 420, Steel Reserve, Miller Lite, Soparo Reserve, Samuel Adams Light

Yea, wife and I almost "lived" in European Street in Riverside. I think they have that 100 beer club. Hey, you ever been to Pizza Italiano in 5 pts. Awesome food...low prices. Funny story here, quite a few years ago we ran into Tim Deegan over there drunker than "Cooter Brown". Man, every time I see him on TV I gotta chuckle a bit. Thats before he and "Donna" got hooked up. Think there was some foolin around going on over there if ya get my drift.
