1. no not sweet at all..

Most of the time the chocolate flavors in beer comes from the roasting process and not actual chocolate. This beer actually has cocoa powder in the beer which give it the chocolate flavor and lactose to give it the silky chocolate feel. It's definitely a desert beer..
  2. Jax, Pearl, Lone Star, Schlitz, Falstaff.

  3. that sounds interesting. I might have to run to Calandro's and get some for dessert.
  4. I hear you about not "fruiting" the beer, however, Abita puts out a strawberry infused beer every strawberry season. Its not sweet and has a nice hint of strawberry flavor. I'm tying to find a low calorie and low carb beer and thats why I figured I'd try the Ultra fuit infused beer. I made it through two sips, brought my secretary the rest of the six pack.

Any other ideas about a low carb and caloried beer" I don't like Ultra or Amber Ultran nor Miller or Bud Lite. I like Amstel lite but would like to find another beer. Won't 'ya 'hep me?
  5. IMO fruit beer is different than "fruiting the beer". "Purple Haze" and "Strawberry Harvest" are fruit beers. There is supposed to be fruit in those beers.

I just don't want some bartender arbitrarily sticking an orange, lime, kumquat, whatever in my beer because it's trendy. If I order a beer I want a beer, not a damn fruit salad.

Guinness Draught is about 5-20 more calories that all those light lagers.
  6. Thanks, per this site, I may also need to try Beck's Light:

  7. You could always try the "Pabst Extra Light Low Alcohol'. It's only 67 calories
