We beat Miss St., but it was a night game. I'm wondering when LSU's last win vs. top ten 10 for a day game.
I think we can throw the whole we don't play well for day game crap out the window. Saban will have the boys ready to go on Saturday. We need to stop talking about playing bad for day games stuff. We beat Moo State at home during a JP game at 11:00 and played Texas in a battle at 10:00 in the Cotton Bowl. I don't care if the game is at 10:00 am or 10:00 pm. This LSU team will play you any time of the day. Along with the day game stuff you can also throw out the we don't play well in purple stuff either. Remember the Peach bowl in 2000.
To many people put to much credence into this whole day/night mumbo jumbo. It's all about the coaches and players doing their job. Do you really believe that anybody associated with the Football team will be slacking this week, or flat? Hell, I bet you even the water boys/girls will be jacked! I really feel that this will be a game decided in the trenches. Not by daytime, or anything else. Our big guys vs. their big guys. That battle will win the war.
This will be the first time since '97 when LSU played Ohio State to a 13-13 tie that there is two top ten teams playing in Baton Rouge. By the way, for that game LSU was #4 and Ohio St was #7.
