They want to keep USC #1 if no other reason than to blame the
BCS for everything and stir up more contoversey.

But I bet that USC will not Beat Michigan and the BCS will just
pull a rabbit out of a hat like it did in years past.

and the voters can have egg in thier face.

 

I just want to beat Oklahoma. Screw the AP, USC, Rose Bowl and everybody else.

 

Just as likely as they would beat LSU if they were in the SEC...

Did you notice that TT, the #4 in the Bigh XII South, beat Ole Miss, the co-champs of the SEC West?

Point being, if the SEC was "stronger", it would definitely be by a marginal amount and is still irrelevant to how well NC State could hang in either conference.

There is some history between Arkansas and Texas... plus, Texas has Mack Brown... . Seriously, in those rivalry games, anything can and often does happen, especially when Texas is involved.

Bama was also ranked in the top 25 after OU played then and before they suffered their rash injuries. KSU suffered some injuries and lost to some average teams in themiddle of the season. Just shows what injuries can do during the season.

Georgia said the same stuff....the first game was a fluck, they had injuries...that they wanted a piece of LSU. Well they got it......and to be honest, from what I saw of Oklahoma, Florida, definitely Georgia, and probably Ole Miss late in the season would have beaten you guys. Bama was a mediocre team even before the injuries.......you were just outplayed that time like you were against KSU.

Like everyone said, I just hope you come back after the game.
