1. This is a verbatim quote Saban's comments that were aired today on WAFB. It was an unedited part of today's meeting with media. I figure people would be interested in hearing his own words:

WAFB also reported that (the following part is a verbatim quote of the WAFB sportscaster) Saban said this decision has nothing to do with money and there is nothing else that LSU can do to persuade him to stay. He says they have been as supportive as they can be. Saban also says he hopes that the Dolphins interview of Shell is sincere and not just something to do on a checklist.
  2. Dude is gone...
  3. I'll just be glad when its over, we still have a bowl game to play!
  4. If Skip has a sack he would be interviewing coaches, find one and tell Nick Thanks, good luck, and see you later.

It is pretty obvious that Nick has made a decision to leave as soon as Miami says come on down.
  5. Yep, sounds like he has to wait until it's "officially offered" to him.
  6. If it's not about the money, Wayne should offer him $2.5 million. Why pay him more? It is not about the money?
  7. Why isn't this on the WAFB website then? If that's exactly what he said, then he's gone.
  8. but if he resigns, isnt he hurting the miami ownership who at least have to put together a sham interview of minorities or get fines? if he resigns, then it is harder for miami to pretend they havent already decided. with forced multiculturalism, you have to keep everyone lying on the same page to pay lip service to the stupidity of the whole operation, or get in trouble. if things are as they appear, sabanfan is right, and the whole minority hiring thing is screwing us.
  9. Martin, I wonder why a sensible man like Saban would want to be part of such an organization?
  10. the organization you speak of is known as the NFL. Not the Dolphins.
