1. for those going to the game......will you be inclined to Boo Va Tech coming out of the lockerroom or hold back due to all they have been through.
Les Miles says he doesnt expect us to boo and I hope we dont do it. Let show some class for what these people have been through. Arizona State cheered us when we went out there after Katrina. Thoughts?
  2. they'll be respected but, im sure they don't want to be treated any differently. the best thing for people is to return to normalcy as much as possible
  3. I don't give a crap....they're getting booed.
  4. that made me laugh

  6. The booing is something new in the past ten years or so. Traditionally the crowd chanted TIGERBAIT, TIGERBAIT when the opponents came out.

I think the booing started when so many teams started waiting until the Tigers ran onto the field and then ran out to enjoy the cheers meant for someone else, which annoyed LSU fans who immediately switched from a cheer to a jeer.

But the old TIGERBAIT chants in unison from the student section got caught up by the crowd and it was great . . . and a lot more intimidating that booing. The cheerleaders are really lame these days and they can't get it going anymore.
  7. If you don't boo them when they come out you will be booing them by the end of the first quarter. I don't think they have changed their style of play.
  8. I feel absolutely terrible for what happened on their campus and pray for everyone there. With that being said, this is just a fun game, and every team has faced some form of adversity, and Ill cheer against them for a solid three hours.
  9. The moments of silence are over; I don't know about boos but the sound of Tigah Bait! will be ringing in their ears!! GO TIGERS!!!!!!
  10. The "Good Sisters" taught me that booing was wrong, lo those many years ago...unless of course, it was for any Notre Dame opponent.:)
Anyway, the "Tiger Bait" chant is a lot more intimidating.
