The University of Spoiled Crybabies could never beat these Tigers. This is the ONE and ONLY National Championship and you have NO part in it. Your Rose Bowl game was just that.....a Rose Bowl game. Congrats on your win, but you cannot taste the Sugar this year. To make up a National Championship before the season is over is just pathetic. It really sucks to be you. Geaux Tigers......FOREVER LSU :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug: :lsug:
Hey, USC.... In order to be a CHAMPION, you must play in, and WIN a CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. USC 2004 Rose Bowl Champions. LSU 2004 BCS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME Sugar Bowl Winners. Got that? If not, I will repeat it.....
None of them truly believe it. It's nothing more than BCS-bashing at it's finest. The west-coast sportswriters long for the good 'ole days when they decided the National Championship. They want the power to do so again, and it's killing them.
The incredible level of disrespect shown to Oklahoma and LSU by Pete Carroll, as well as USC's entire team and university administration, is mind-boggling and disturbing. Their relentless self-promotion and disdain for teams with better records (12 wins, not 11) against better competition (SEC, Big 12) is the opposite of sportsmanship, and it tarnishes USC's considerable on-field accomplishments. USC clearly hasathletic talent, but they do not have character, and the lack of character goes all the way to the top. Had they shown any respect for the system (not to mention their contractual commitments) and the other deserving teams involved in the BCS Championship, I would have had some sympathy for them. The fact that they have elected to engage in narcissistic whining instead of sportsmanlike acknowledgement that other teams are deserving of respect has turned me into a enemy of the USC program and the selfish and unsportsmanlike value system it stands for. They would have been happy to profit from the system if LSU had been the team left out of the championship game. They only became critics of the system when they found out that it did not work for them this year. Whatever else you can say about LSU and OU, both teams have been willing to give USC due respect, but they justifiably have been angry that USC has not given them the respect they deserve. It is contemptible for a coach or team to tell the media that a national championship game is not important.
wow great season UCS, a bunch of overtime games and you beat a #4 team that wasnt even competing for a part of the national championship and you call yourself national champs... makes me laugh
