To any Tiger Band members or others Could you tell me the notes for "Hey Fightin Tigers"? Like C, B, A etc. I'm trying to figure out how to play it on my guitar. Yeah, I'm bored.
I don't think you can do justice to "Hey Fightin' Tigers" with just a guitar. The song needs all the horns to make it sound right.
No, you really can't, but you can do it good by doing a bluesy solo to the melody... I've tried it, may not have been in the right key, but it followed a basic scale.
i was just bored and was trying.. i think i was playing it right for awhile... i think you are right, it just doesnt sound right with a guitar.
I tried it myself and it comes out like a good blues song but nothing like the original. "Hey, Fightin' Tigers, Can you lend me an ear. I said Haaaay, Fightin' Tigers, Its been a hell of a year. When we kick dem Sooner's asses, Please buy me a beer" It works with a reggae beat too.
