...That game is over, we lost. I think we can all agree that it was due to many different reasons that have been snowballing for the past couple of weeks and finally came to a head in the 2nd half. With that said, it's over and we can't erase that L from the record books. CLM has acknowledged that some changes need to be made, and I'm confident in his ability to do just that and take him at his word.

The reality is that we have a very difficult opponent this week in AU, and IMO our focus as fans should be on supporting our Tigers, rather than constant criticism of every unit on this team for a game that took place 3 days ago. The coaches are well aware (probably much more so than any one of us) of what the team needs to do to become better. This game may well be the turning point of the season, with an opponent that traditionally has played us very tough, and this team will need our support now more than ever. Just my $0.02.

    GEAUX TIGERS!!

Very true. I think most of the continuing negativity is coming from those that don't normally post around here. I think you're right in saying that there was just some venting that needed to be done.

And lsudolemite, you're right too. :thumb:

I think we need to beat them up even more. We're ONLY #4 in the BCS, we can ONLY win the SEC West (no trophy though, just ask Arky) and play for the SEC Championship if we win our remaining SEC games, if we win the SEC Championship we will ONLY play in the MNC game or the Sugar Bowl. If we win either, we will ONLY finish #1 or #2 in the final polls. Lets kick this team's @ss more, why they don't even deserve to wear purple and gold. Lets face it, the team was trying to lose the KY game and our coaches played tiddly winks all week long gloating over the big win over Florida. Why even bother to play the rest of the games now after losing to Kentucky. Anybody have a white flag ?

    (throws white hanky)

I guess I'm a little irritated myself that after all this time I still see new thread titles saying Flynn and Lafell should be benched, etc. At this point, it's beating a dead horse. IMO, I think we'll see significant improvement this week, and a solid win over Auburn going into the bye week will put us in very good position to handle the rest of the schedule.

My only hang-up at this time is the fear that our coaching staff will not make the right adjustments and stay stuck in their stubborn ways of doing things.I believe our coaches know how much talent they have control of and it makes them have kind of a false sense of confidence.Look at all of the underdog teams winning this year, upsetting top 10 teams. Why do you think this is happening? My take is that the coaches of the top ten teams are resting on their laurels and getting quite lax in their judgment. Now look at the underdog teams. The coaches know that they will have to play above their abilities to hang in there with the top 10 team and this year it seems to have been a pretty sucessfull way of thinking.Answer to the problem,do not get overconfident in your teams abilities, play all 4 quarters to win,and not to loose, and last but not least, there is another football team lined up across the line of scrimmage,no matter who they are they want to win too and will rest at nothing to accomplish a victory.ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT!
