Time to start posting about Auburn: I think we can win.

Auburn didn't dominate La-Monroe as much as I would suspect. Auburn has to go to Mississippi State and after watching the highlights of Miss. State v. Tulane, I think Miss. State has a chance against Auburn.

If we play conservatively, we have a better defense than Auburn does.
A solid running game without the passing game to keep defenses from stuffing the box just like Auburn. Poor quarterback play just like Auburn.

I would like us to commit to the run and try to win with defense. If we are both trying to run and relying on our defenses to win, I like our chances. Give Broussard all the carries that Addai was getting and just bang them. I think we would have a good chance of winning. We need to avoid turnovers and have Russell play the entire Ark. State game to get some rhythm on offense.

Uh, don't we have to play ARK ST. first? Man, like Saban said, we have a lot of work to do.

Aubarn has JC at QB....and Tubby at the helm

    I am not worried.

Our worst game in months against a very under-rated team and we win.....AU has an average game against a school that wouldnt break .500 in D2

I agree, I also think in the Arkansas St game we should concentrate on long drives with short passes for russell. How many times did he over-throw balls yesterday out to the flat or short dump-offs. I know some of it was probably nerves, but it seemed to me like he needs to practice more touch because he certainly has the strength for long balls. Just more reps in general. how often does a new quarterback excel at mid range to long passes and struggle with short range? it's a nice problem to have, and theoredically easy to fix. the defense will be fine and so will special teams. The team has had a serious wake-up call and Russell doesn't need to be flawless, he just needs 14-20 points a game and let the defense do the rest

The Indians played Missouri tough ... 52-20

We'll be able to gauge LSU against the likes of a team like #17 Missouri.

Think ASU will score 20 on LSU :hihi:

    Weather forecast?????????????????

went to their board to see the talk, and they are constantly talking trash with USC & UGA fans. Many are already alluding to playing UGA twice (one guy goes through the SEC West, saying how Arky lost too much, AU only scored 31 on a team we scored 73 on last year, Bama, Miss St are non factors and Ole Miss without Eli is horrible). I am sure the team will not keep this mentality, but it is amazing that they dont see their GLARING weakness----NO OFFENSIVE BALANCE & NO QB's ready to play at this level. Russell, while he did look better than Randall, had some horrible plays and decisions. He ALSO wasnt playing infront of a VERY HOSTILE CROWD on the road, like he will be in 2 weeks. We have our own stuff to address, but having only shown 30% of our offense and subbing in SOO many players, I feel better about our chances than I did before watching them last night. They may be pretty good by year end, but next weeks drubbing of D-II team might set them up for a let down. I am sure their fans will be there, cocky, drunk, rude and obnoxious as ever. Oregon St had NO PROBLEMS passing on their "all world" secondary, and until they develop an effective passing game, Vincent and other RB's will be dominated with 8-10 men in the box on every play, daring them to beat you with the pass (sound familiar--AU 2003???) Got to love their Egos, if any one of the other 116
Div1A place kickers played for Ore St last night, they are 0-1.

    They are ignorant coonaces.

They wake up in the morning, hangover and all, roll out of bed with their 250 pound drunk girlfriends, go and bath in corndog batter, and then go off to work at the auto repair shop.
