LSU has to show up and show big for this game. These pac 10 wack jobs, are thinking they can beat our boys. Well I am going to the game with a bunch of folks and we will do our part to be loud and proud. LSU this is a must win, It will shut some people down, LSU can win road games in the heat with the time change etc etc etc. lets go guys
The Sporting News, being the reliable source that they are, also picked Auburn as the # 1 team in the nation.
Obviously, like someone said, 'Zona will be ready. I think last season have pretty much been an embarassment for them and I'm sure they'll want to put the whole "no team unity" thing to rest. So, with the already motivated Wildcat team, the only thing that worries me is what Saban said during his press conference: That we need to be ready to play when it's gametime--NOT after the game has started. We need to go all out from first whistle to the final gun--not stops, no "let ups"... C'mon, GUYS!!!! Do us proud!!! BEAT UA!!!!
Exactly what I was thinking.......AND didnt USA Today pick Bama #3 presason and Bama ended up 3-8 that season. So the predictions mean nothing!!
FightinTiger I hope the team and staff are as fired up as you sound! I agree with you all the way. It does not matter what magazine picks you to win, lose or as #1. LSU needs to geaux out and slap the taste out of their mouth. Your question is right on target. Are they ready to take that next step up. It's not like we had a glory season in 02 after the 7th game. I think this team has something to prove as well. Tigers...Are you ready?
Amen, amen, amen! It seems to me like many of our folks are already counting their money - the only question being how many points will the Tigers win by. Y'all, this is the type of game LSU will lose if they are not focused and ready to play. Look, I hope we win 62-0, and I expect that we will win. But something tells me it's going to be close. If I'm wrong, I'll e-mail everybody a shrimp po-boy.
I agree with FightinTiger. We should win, but this game is no lock, anything can happen on the field.
It's quite true that the Tigers need to be ruthless and take no prisoners. I mean from kickoff to the end. But I'm not sure the Arizona players and fans are all that pumped up. Some of the players don't speak to their coach, and not a single poster from Arizona has shown up here to speak his pumped up mind. The traveling Tiger fans are going to overwhelm Arizona fans with noise, color and all the trappings of an SEC road game. I think Nick's team will do its job and overwhelm the Arizona football team, as well. I sure wish Tiger Band was going to be there.
the AZ fans are wondering what is going on. They have a forum like this, however it has been taken over by LSU. They are complaining (some) the others think is great and are excited that LSU is coming with such force. The last I heard LSU was going to have 10,000 fans. The stadium only holds 56,000 it is going to be loud for them.
