I'll have to tape the game tomorrow, because I've got some important military business to attend to this weekend. I will be thinking about the LSU Tiger football team during the game tomorrow. I know that they will try their best to make us proud and get the win. Those of us in the military are doing the same. GEAUX TIGERS!! PS Dixie Darlin: I haven't forgotten you. It's just that the time for talk is over. Now, it's time for decisive and swift action. :geaux: :lsug:
Interesting Avatar I watched the special on the History of Louisiana and saw the same emblem for their Jean Lafitte. Though Jean Lafitte and his pirates were always running from the law during the civil war they struck a deal with him and his gang and they were excellent fighters. But I bet you knew that already!
Re: Interesting Avatar Sir: I am not a pirate, but a Privateer. I only raid American merchant ships when the ship is from a company that owes me money (I loan out a good deal of money to businessmen in the shipping business, and sometimes, they don't like to pay me back my money). Otherwise, I raid only the shipping of countries hostile to the United States. "Pirate" is a very ugly and politically incorrect word. Are you trying to hurt my feelings? The LSU Tigers have made us all very, very proud. This is exactly how I felt after General Andy Jackson and me whipped the British near Chalmette in 1815. I'm glad that the British are now our best Allies, because I've always had the utmost admiration for their fighting abilities. Even at the Battle of New Orleans, you should have seen how magnificent they were. BUT THOSE REDCOATS WERE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BEAT US IN 1815, AND OUR LSU TIGERS BEAT THE DAMN GEORGIA REDCOATS HERE TODAY!!!!!!! :geaux: :lsug:
