How does he fit that head in his helmet

    ESPN

Think he's a bit full of himself? On Oct 15th, for one day, I'll be NDDieHard.

I'm a FUSC diehard, so it doesn't matter who they play, i'm a diehard fan of their opponent...

Being so near to LA has made cross-eyed Matt so civilized. He'd never last in the SEC. He'd be just another Croyle getting injured every year. I hope ND takes him out and shuts him up. ESPN can still spin him for a Heisman, even from a Hollywood hospital, as he has enough games in already.

Well, let's call a spade a spade here: the dude has absolutely crushed since he's been the starter.

Gotta respect his production and W-L record.

I won't try to say he's not a good QB, b/c obviously he is. But I still can't stand the guy. I get seriously annoyed with athletes that are completely full of themselves. Being confident is fine, and even being cocky in the Joe Horn/Shaq sarcastic everyone-knows-i'm-a-great-player-so-i'm-just-messing-around kinda way is okay b/c it's funny, and it seems more like they're joking around than just trying to be "cool". Bust straight up cockiness just gets on my nerves.

I would love to say he is a product of the system, but then that would mean Pete Caroll was a great coach.

    Anyway, Go Irish!

I will be a LSU die-hard on October 15th as I watch LSU play Florida.

By all indications, it appears that Carroll is a great coach and Leinert's a great QB. Funny thing is pre-2003, I had absolutely no opinion of USC (other than slightly positive b/c of Marcus Allen and OJ.) Nevertheless, I don't have any problem respecting what they're doing.

Leinert can say whatever he wants until somebody proves otherwise. He's had a remarkable career.

Bah !!! Leinart is a product of the system as far as I'm concerned.
