I am going to be switching from cable to one of the dish networks. Do both the dish network and directtv have the tigervision option? If not which one more commonly carries LSU sports? Thanks in advance.
neither one do, but ESPN Gameplan on DirecTV sometimes carries the Tigervision feed. They did last week for the LA Tech game, and it was only 14.99 for the Gameplan as opposed to 34.99
Dish networks is owned by the same cable co. you're getting rid of. In the last few years tigervision hasn't been around much since LSU is on tv so much. Directtv doesn't offer tigervision, but they have ESPN gameplan. You don't have to buy the whole package, you can buy just the game you want for $15,which is cheaper than $35 tigervision.
Skip Bertman said on his letter before the La Tech. game. Direct tv doesn't have Tigervision but Dish Network does. I have Direct tv and its much cheaper getting it with ESPN gameplan, or full court. I got the La Tech game and all the other games for one Saturday for $15. Can't Beat That. I don't see why anyone would want Tigervision for that reason.
Tigervision You are correct about Dishnetwork carrying tigervision and Gameplan. The in state viewers cannot get LSU games on Gameplan because they are blacked out in La. Thus the only other option for in state viewers is tigervision, if it is on.
Tigervision actually broadcasts and produces the games, and LSU allows ESPN Gameplan to pick up the Tigervision feed outside the state of Louisiana. So, if Tigervision does not broadcast the game and the game is not on another TV network, it is not available anywhere. ESPN Gameplan showed the La. Tech game, but it was the Tigervision broadcast, simply picked up by ESPN Gameplan. They have broadcast a few games in the last few years, including ULL last year and, I believe, Tulane the year before (Middle Tenn. St. in '01 was broadcast via a Tennessee network).

Its like your penalized for living in Louisiana and wanting to watch LSU so you have to pay an additional $25.00 per game. That's Crazy, If the games are sold out then you have to still pay that. In State, not just in the surrounding areas? I didn't realize you were talking about instate since I live out of state.
