Did anyone out there buy the Tulane game on Tigervision and if so, did you have network difficulty with the picture and sound during the whole game? I did and I think we should not have to pay for such junk. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks....
Yes, everyone who ordered TigerVision had the same technical difficulties. It was awful, but about what I would expect from a TigerVision broadcast. At least it was a clear picture, this time around.
I lost the game on a couple of occasions for more than 10 minutes at a time. Reminds me, I need to call and bitch.. since it was busy during the game.
This was my first time to by a ppv game. Good grief TigerVision is awful. It was better with the technical difficulty that drowned out the broadcasters. When the audio was still working, I tried turning down the volume and called the WWL number and put it on speakerphone. About a 10 second delay getting the video, so that was screwed up. I ended up listening to MOO U while I watched the game.:dis:
Were there commercials during the game? The Red shirted guy kept coming onto the field stopping play during the timeouts. I'll be damned if I'd pay 40 bucks for the game and then have freakin' commercials too.
We had 0 problems with the ULL Tigervision broadcast on Cox. My friend had Eatel though, and it sucked so bad they gave him the Tulane game for free along with a sandwich tray, and a drink cooler.
We got the Tigervision feed through ESPN Gameplan DirecTV. And yes, we had the awful static problem starting in the second quarter and lasting throughout the game.
The "he laid the velveeta on him" quote has to be the worst on air sports commentary statement I've ever heard. JP never seemed so good...........
