9-7 and 8-3 against Southern and Nicholls St. LSU used 10 pitchers total.

I should be happy about winning a double header, but we nearly gave it away against Southern. That is pretty crappy.

I don't find that the games were that impressive, but at least we won them. I guess it's more of a tune-up because we have a hellish slate left with Arky, UF and Vandy. That should be 9 of the toughest games of the season. Hopefully we can win 2 of those series, I doubt it though. But I still have faith.

So Bradford will pitch Fridays, Furbush Saturdays and Forrest Sundays? I'm not sure I like that too much. We've been having problems on Fridays and it has a lot to do with our offense. Probably about as much as it has to do with pitching. Furbush needs to step-it-up. He has the stuff! Rooney might need to sit down with him and make sure they're on the same page or something. I'm sure the team knows what they have to do to make the tourney. Should be an exciting three weekends.
