Tigers Bball to go 3-3 down the stretch. 19-10 in the regular season

We win one game in the SEC tourney. That makes us 20-11 and we end up with a 6th to 7th seed. We will be 11-5 in conference play.

We face a #10 seed and lose in the 1st round since they will lock down Daryl Mitchell.

Wait a minute...haven't we seen this movie before?

 

damn right you have seen it for at least half a decade.

 

The rest of the games depend on four people.... D Mitchell and the refs... If Mitchell is hot, the team is likely to win.... and if the refs call a high-fouling game, we are likely to lose with our lack of depth...

None of that is new or shocking information to anyone.... The SEC touney will be impossible to win if we don't win the West... That one extra game will just destroy the team...

 

Of the remaining game, the most difficult game will be Kentucky. We should fare pretty well the rest of the schedule.

Yes because @ Vandy and @ South Carolina are easy wins. Yawn

Worst case scenerio, I think we win 3 games. If that happens, and we win 1-2 games in the SEC tourny, I think we are looking at a 5-7 seed.

 

I really don't know what to think about the remainder of the schedule. I was thinking at worst 12-4 but I'm beginning to think that maybe 11-5 is looking more realistic. Vanderbilt is going to be a tough one on the road. Kentucky will be tough here. I think that SC is going to be interesting. They've beaten Florida twice and Florida beat LSU so you have to wonder there. This LSU team as I heard someone say will run into trouble win DMitch is cold and there are a lot of fouls called. As we saw in the game yesterday when TT gets in foul trouble it hurts the team. The bench is so thin that if 2 guys get in foul trouble its gunna be a long nite. This SEC season has been crazy so you never know what will happen down the stretch. LSU could win out, LSU could lose 4 of 6 so who knows. I feel that if LSU gets that dreaded 5 seed or even a 6 they won't win. That 12/5 game is the kiss of death for atleast one 5 seed per year. The only time Brady advanced in the tourney was as a 3 seed. the last two times he's been in there he's been an 8 and a 6 seed and been blown out of the water.

Yes we win because we have so much talent some teams cant overcome it. We lose because Brady. I love how everyone will settle on a mediocre season. 15 plus wins and 1st or 2nd round of NCAA. WE ARE LSU...WE SHOULD BE DOMINATING ALL SPORTS.
