So I got a little bored and decided to post some interesting stats on TigerForums. As of 3:10 am CST TigerForums has had a total of 386,233 posts. Out of that total, 139,765 posts have been from the top 30 posters. That is 36% of all posts coming from .004% of the registered members. The top 60 posters have a total of 200,706 posts for 52% of the total posts. That comes out to 52% of the posts from .007% of the members. Some of us really need to get a life, maybe spend some more time with family and friends. Nah!
Consider that 71% of the 7,921 "members" have less than 10 posts and are not regulars. 57% of registered members have one post or zero. Many haven't posted in over two years. One-timers. I would define the active members as three-digit posters who have posted in the last month. That would be a total of 431. Many are also contributors. I would define the heavy users as four-digit posters. There are 92 of them, all of whom have posted in the last month. Four-digit posters who aren't contributors are freeloaders, IMHO. That would leave the Get a Life members with five digits. Total = 2. NOTE: These definitions are subject to revision when I reach 9,900 posts.
