LSU alum Dr. Larry Arthur is doing important work. Since graduating in 1970 with a PhD in Microbiology, Arthur has gone on to research HIV/AIDS since its discovery in 1984 and now presides as the Associate Director of the National Cancer Institute's AIDS Virus Program. Link To Original Article
