My family and I are going up to the game this weekend and I was wondering if there is an area in which Tiger fans congregate. I remeber when we went to Gainesville in 98 that there was a bar called the Purple Porpoise that was packed with Tigers. Anyone know of a place like that?

A guy from New Iberia owns Proud Larry's. He's a rebel but it's a great hang-out. Hanagriff & Co. will be broadcasting from there Friday. There will be great music (Walter 'wolfman' Washington on Friday, and the Kudzu Kings after the game). He also has great food next door. It's on the square in "downtown" Oxford. This will be the best party in Oxford.
From what I understand the plac to be is Silky's in Memphis. It is owned by an LSU grad and is only 30 or so miles more up I55. I believe it is on Beel St.
We'll be staying in Memphis on friday night ad plan on seeing Beal St. so we'll have to stop by. How many of you are planning on staying in Memphis?
