Last time we went sugar we were seated in chairs on the floor. We were on the tigers' sideline nearest the endzone. I don't remember which endzone, though. If you were looking at the field from the stands behind the team, we were to the left of them. I dunno if we'll be in the same place, but it's definitely probable because of the shortage of tickets.
Tiger Band in Dome I was in Tiger Band in 86, so I did go to the Sugar Bowl then. That year they had the band on the floor. At about the 30 yard line. Those are seats added for the Sugar Bowl and Super Bowl. The sideline seats are pulled back from their normal postion for Saints games so that there are more seats in the corners. In effect, I was sitting on the floor, on the 30, 25 yards from the sideline. I couldn't see the game at all through the photographers and players. At least they had put in the jumbotrons that year, so I could watch those. I wouldn't have been able to see the screens in the middle of the roof either. Looking at the film of the 2002 game, I think it was about the same then. Worst seats I have ever had, in any venue. GEAUX TIGERS
SO TRUE! I WISH THE JUMBOTRONS WERE LIKE THE ONES IN TIGER STADIUM, THEN AT LEAST WE COULD SEE WHATS GOING ON! BUT I CAN'T COMPLAIN CAUSE ITS THE NCG THIS YEAR! GEAUX TIGERS! BUT YES WE WILL BE ON THE FLOOR CAUSE ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!
