    This is an LSU fan site, and I think the ticket exchange is a great part of the site. But I also think that there should be a rule against the solicitation of tickets above face value. :geaux:

    We don't need a law, just a rule and a monitor to remove the post.

    But it is already a law. I havent looked at that forum much, so I dont know if there are a lot tickets being sold for over face value or not. If they are, its illegal. I agree that they shouldnt be sold over face value. Ive just assumed that they havent been.

    what about whenever the surcharge comes into effect.

    would you let them add in the surchage

    Good question, but since it is a surcharge, how do you break it out, per game, or just for the high profile games. The surcharge is the price you pay for the tickets, and should not be considered. Some people already pay a surcharge to the TAF.

    It is lawful to include the surcharge in ticket resale, so face value isnt really a good indicator.

    Isn't it just against the law in Louisiana? That's not some kind of federal law is it?
