Just checked TicketReserve and here are the latest transactions: LSU $346 Oregon 100 Oklahoma 76 Kansas 50 I was hoping Oregon would shoot up closer to the $200 range this week after the Ohio St loss. However, there's a lot of pressure to move up a big 12 team, especially an unbeaten Kansas if they win out. So here's what Oregon share holders NOW need to happen, IMO, for Oregon to make it to the BCSCG: 1. Of course, oregon MUST win their three remaining games. 2. Kansas needs to lose a game. They have two home games left against Iowa State and then Missouri. Mizz would be the best chance to beat them. 3. Oklahoma needs to lose a game. They travel to Texas Tech (7-4) this week, then host Oklahoma St (5-5.) If they win both these games, they are likely to face Kansas or Missouri (hopefully) in the big12 CG. So c'mon, Sooners... pick up another L! Still hoping those Oregon shares make us some money... !!
That would be a great scenario but I'm not sure Oklahoma can pass up Oregon if they win out. People are high on Oregon and I know they may not be as high in the next few weeks but they want to put Oregon in and the computers probably do to.
I do understand that a lot of people are high on Oregon. However, they do have a knock against them, they have no conference championship game. Meanwhile, if Oklahoma were to beat an unbeaten Kansas team in the big12 championship game, I think it would be enough for human voters to rank Oklahoma ahead of oregon. And the BCS is weighed 2/3 on human polls. So I guess Oklahoma doesn't have to lose, though it would be comforting. Maybe it would just be important that Kansas doesn't make it to the big12 CG at all. Don't get me wrong. I REALLY REALLY want Oregon to be in the big game. Completely for financial reasons. And obviously, I want LSU to annihilate them in said game. :geauxtige
