I've finally finished school (LSU), med school (LSU) and, in June, residency (LSU). The one thing that I want to do now that I'll be gainfully employed is buy season tickets. I know that I could probably get some in the endzone, which probably wouldn't be too bad, but I'd really prefer a seat on the side. Is it possible to get one of those? I've read some about transferring tickets into another person's name, but is this really an option? Where would I find someone who may not be renewing? I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks and GEAUX TIGERS!
Season Tickets Congrats...My husband graduated recently from LSUSD. I went to campus on July 1, the first day that '03 season tickets were available. I was about 20th in line. Everyone in front of me was saying that they only wanted south endzone tickets to avoid the TAF donation. We wanted to pay the donation so we'd be eligible for postseason tickets. Now, they may end up paying more of a donation than we will. When I got to the counter, I asked if they had any near my dad in the East Upper deck on about the 30. Then, on a whim, I asked if he happened to have any closer to the middle. To my surprise, there were four seats on the 50 only two rows behind the "yellow seats". There is a $300 per seat difference in donation level alone between the chairbacks & bench seats. Needless to say, I thought we'd hit the jackpot with those seats. I don't think we'll ever give them up. They'll be great date seats for the kids one day when mom & dad move over to the new Stadium Club!! Good luck...
When you start making those big bucks contact the TAF with a blank check in hand. I'm sure they will be able to set you up with something nice.
