Ticket prices might not go up..... LSU Student sues LSU over raising ticket prices

SI has an article about 3rd year law student at LSU sueing the University.

I don't think anything will come of this personally. Looks like a future lawyer just trying to establish a name for himself early.

 

The Advocate had a pretty balanced article for once. The defense seems to think that he has misapplied a statute. They also referenced a precedent decision. Starscream is probably right about this guy getting his name out. Its a sore subject around BR and this guy will be known as the one who took on the institution. Of course, its a disturbing trend to see all the litigation that the university has been involved in lately.

 

I agree with you 100% on the fact that Mr. Hodges is just trying to make a name for himself.

 

Its a shame that LSU will actually have to spend money to defend itself in a frivolous lawsuit.
