It's Wednesday and time to move on. LSU lost a game they should have won. It happens. A lot of other teams looking forward to great things are in the same boat (Iowa comes to mind). We are 2 games into the season. There is a lot of football left to play. We've all blown off steam and said our piece. No one, from this point on, can say anything negative that we haven't all heard, or thought ourselves, already.

I recommend that you scroll through the thread titles and skip over the negative ones. Reading them will only add to your misery.

Mississippi State is an opportunity to get things going in a positive direction.

Please don't post some sarcastic anti-whatever response in this thread. There are fifty others that you can post your venom in.

We wait all year for football season. If an undefeated season is the only acceptable result, then I suggest you look inward and adjust your expectations. A perfect season is a great thing, but they are as scarce as hens' teeth.

It's autumn, cool weather is coming and the sun comes up every morning.

After a speed bump, you have to push the gas to get back up to speed. See you at the game! I thought I saw a hen with a tooth once, turned out to be a piece of corn. Oh well. Geaux Tigers!

I must agree wholeheartedly. I know everyone was disappointed, but look at reality. LSU has not gone undefeated in 47 years. They won a MNC 2 years ago with one loss. Even the so-called "powerhouses" win one, maybe every 5 at BEST. It is extremely difficult to do, and just because you lose one in September is no reason to throw the baby out with the bathwater. There is still a lot of football to be played, and I still don't see anyone beating the Tigers out for the Western division, so the SEC championship is still a very obtainable goal.

This was an overtime loss to a top-10 team, for heavens sake. Hell, Nick lost one to UAB! And he worked out all right. This team is going to win a lot of games and go to a major bowl. Anyone who sat through six straight losing seasons under Archer and Hallman has gotten some perspective. One tough loss don't mean chit.

I sat threw the dark ages of LSU football, and I agree they were not fun, but I disagree with your UAB comparision which was during the rebuilding phase of our program whereas our program is primed for potential nc this year-BIG DIFFERENCE. We have more talent this year then anyone in the conference, and some here are satisfied with 8-3, 7-4-not me. Based on what was coming back this year, we should not lose more than 1 time. You realize if was not for a great catch, we will be 0-2. This coaching staff is obviously lost and miles is obviously not ready for a top 10 program. I predict we will go 7-4 and go to the peach bowl based on the our performance so far this year.

Yes... when you are 2-2 after four games, life can take on other meanings.
You start noticing things you normally wouldn't.
For example, has Holly Rowe put on some weight or what? She looked
like PhatPhil's twin sister on the sideline Monday night. It made me think of Jayne Kennedy. .. have you seen her lately?

I mean... I thought we might have a drop-off with the defensive line, but whodda guessed Tate would forget how to find a receiver? If we want anything that even resembles a good bowl, Ferentz better get hoppin'.

You guys are on a lot firmer ground... and I still pick you to win the SEC crown. You just need some help now... with other teams needing losses... part of the equation is now out of your hands.

    Can you read??

I would like to have one thread where that kind of complaining is non-existent. If you can't deal with the situation, I suggest you just go kill yourself.

    Penalty. Flag.

Violation of Saban Fan's no "sarcastic anti-whatever response" rule.

    15 yards.

the last time I checked, this was a free country and I have right to express my opinions. This is not a preaching to the choir forum.
