in his search for a new job. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/writers/don_banks/11/30/browns.breakdown/index.html
Florida wants him badly. Butch wants to be the coach at Florida badly. An announcement will be made within a week.
won't hurt him at all in his quest for a college job. he is a premier coach at the NCAA level and in high demand. He'd be right here replacing NS if he was to leave. Pro athletes can't trust each other much less their coach. this crap comes out after the fact when they don't want to take the responsibility for losing themselves. shows their character as much as his.
Rumors are that Butch is taking a year off per his family's request. Gator fans seem to think it will be Petrino. Then next year, Butch takes the FSU job when Bowden retires. Conspiracy theories abound!!
I know I am biased but Nick Saban would pull his hair out trying to deal with all those prima donnas.
I'm sure some (if not all) of the points in the article are valid but it reminded me of why i dont like pro athletes. Whiners
I didn't click on the link but if those are all the stories and the reporter didn't name any of the players than both the players and the reporter are chicken sh!t.
In the real reporting world, that's not how it always works. sometimes to keep the spigot on, especially when it's something as sensitive as this, you can't reveal your sources. when you have a number of players saying essentially the same thing, the story doesn't need sources. I believe these players are just telling it like it is. they just want to maintain confidentiality becasue when you expouse to the media, it's like talking about your family behind their backs. that could come back to haunt these players.
