LSU/Bama 2002. We were dominated so bad in this game, I could not believe the Tigers were being handled the way they were. We lost Auburn too, but they had a huge helping hand from turnovers. Alabama was just a plain ol fashioned ass whipping. We owe this Bama team more revenge than any other team.
Another bad thing about that game, the temperature! It was so damn cold, especially when everybody started leaving Tiger Stadium.
I came to Tiger Stadium for the first time last year. (photographed the game on the field) I'm glad we got ahead like we did, it was incredibly loud until then. You're right, if you guys beat us bad, it is pay back. =) Spirits are high here, though, and I we'll come out fighting. (crossing fingers)
Bradie James fake punt advance was the longest offensive play from scrimmage all night for LSU... Another one of those rare eggs Jimbo laid on offense, but the team came out flatter than 22 year old dry-rotted Mississippi trailer park tire...
The back breaker was Bama driving to enter halftime with a 14-0 lead. If Bama goes in halftime 7-0 them momentum is different. Bama may have still won but we don't get embarrassed.
I just hope LSU can stop the draw play this week. On that drive right before half time, Bama ran like four draws for 75 yards and a TD.
can someone post franchione comments after getting shut out by oklahoma. it would be great to compare to what he said about being on the winning side with the losing side
