I did not see this posted anywhere so here it is. It's a short summary of what to expect on Gameday this Saturday.

With Gameday on campus, "The Early Show" doing their show on Friday morning, Mike the Tiger VI appearing for the first time, playing last years National Champion Florida, Our Defense, Our Offense, Our Coaching Staff, The Best Fans of College Football, Tiger Stadium on Saturday Night, WOW....Can it get any better then this??? :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

Florida losing took the fun down a few notches. Nevertheless, it'll be a huge game.

For me that does not matter. This is one of the best teams LSU has ever had and we are ranked #1 with Florida coming in very focused on beating us. We have to play our best game and the fans can certainly influence the out come.

I dont think it took the fun down but it clearly lessened the impact of this game. This will undoubtedly be a big game but might better be described as the biggest "showcase" of LSU with all thats surrounding the game. ie: Mike, Gameday, Today Show, prime time, etc.

Its certainly not as big football wise as it could have been.

With LSU ranked #1 in the AP it is the biggest game in Tiger Stadium since 1959.The coaches will have to coach their best game of the season so far along with the players playing their best game. And the fans will have to be even louder than the VT. game if that is possible. This game is HUGE! After the Tulane debacle some of the sports writers are already saying this game will determine if LSU is a pretender or for real.:geauxtige

I expect this game to be at or next to the top of the all time attendance records.

Being ranked #1 makes it the biggest game in tiger stadium? Not sure about that.

I think the 2003 game vs. OU was the biggest LSU game of the past several decades, but that's just an outsider looking in...

You are absolutely correct, and I am a total moron.

Seriously, sorry about that. I didn't fully read the thread title. Again, my apologies.
