This is the last time I want to see the word "Georgia" until next week.

    Damn, I love this guy!

    Right on!

ONE GAME AT A TIME! ONE ASS KICKING AT A TIME!

Western Illinois is a highly ranked Division 2a team. I think they were ranked 4 preseason. They just whipped on Eastern Michigan and that was a Div 1a team. I'm not making comparison between out TIGERS and E. Michigan but I want to see LSU beat the pants out of Western Illinois before they look ahead in their schedule! (There I didn't say it! :D )

    Next butt whipping: W. Illinois

Good points FightTIGER. Its easy for a 51 year old experienced coach like Saban to stay focused on each opponent one at at time. The question is can he pound it into the heads of a bunch of 18 - 22 year old players who are all probably feeling pretty damn good about themselves right now that if they don't take care of business each and every week that it can all come crashing down. Lets face it. It is just about imposible to reach a feverish emotional high each and every week. I don't expect the Tigers to be as fired up playing Western Illinois as they were against Zona but I do expect them to do their jobs and achieve a methodical destruction of the Leathernecks and put them away early in the game. I don't even think it would be a good thing for the Tigers to play a perfect mistake free game this week because it would be better if they went into the Georgia week knowing that there are areas that they still need to improve upon and focus all their intensity on eliminating those deficiencies before they face their first real test against a team who will be ranked higher than them.

Alright its out of my system now. We must dismantle the Leathernecks first. I like the saying "The most important game of the year is the one you are about to play." So in other words this game against Western Ill is the most important game this year.

I don't think many Georgia fans would be talking about us yet. They have a big game this weekend.

    .....

The fans should be able to talk about what ever, as long as the team stays focused. But, if you think discussing WIU only this week will some how help the tigers I will go along with it.

I'm all about staying focused on the next game at hand but I mean cmon, look what happened to McNeese this weekend. They got blown out against K-State and McNeese is a highly ranked I-AA team. If LSU lets down their guard against a weaker opponent, all Tiger fans will be fuming for weeks to come.

Well, there will be plenty of purple and gold on the field Saturday. Those are WIU's colors as well. Also, their team name is "Leathernecks" but their mascot is a bulldog. So, LSU will be playing three bulldog teams in a row (with La Tech coming up later this season). Just a little worthless trivia. [IMG]

That's 4 bulldogs in one year: WIU, UGA, La. Tech, and MSU.

I am really looking forward to the UGA game but I want to focus on WIU. Didn't McNeese hang around with Miami for about 3 quarters either last year or the year before.
